Cerritos Wrestling (2011): Did not place at the State Championships at 174 pounds after winning his first match, while he came in third place at the Southern California Regional Championships… Posted a 29-16 overall record on the year, which included a 19-9 mark at 174 pounds and was 10-7 at 184 pounds… Reached the quarterfinals at the Southern California Championships, but after a loss, came back to win his next two matches to earn third place… Came in third place at 184 pounds at the Santa Ana Tournament, while he finished in fourth place at 174 pounds at the Modesto Tournament and fifth place at the Lassen Tournament…..

Lancaster
HS: Finished second in the Golden League at 171 pounds as a senior and placed fifth in the CIF Championships… Posted a 42-12 record and was named his team’s Most Valuable Player and Captain… Recorded the most pins on the year… Came in second place in the league championships as a junior at 160 pounds and recorded the most pins with a 40-8 record… As a sophomore, he placed fourth in the league championships at 160 pounds and went 38-14… Team voted him their Most Improved Wrestler as a freshman… Won the Eagle Invitational as a senior and came in third place at the El Dorado Invitational…..

Personal:
Most memorable moment was breaking the school record for most pins in a season that was set by Olympian Adam Wheeler… Would like to transfer to Minot State (ND) University and aspires to be a wrestling coach… Likes to work out in his spare time… Nicknamed “T-Rex”… Has one brother – Troy (14)… Is the son of Tania O’Conner… Born in Torrance, CA on December 13, 1991…..
